Illustration, Amplification & Disjuncture
Wheezers Teenage Dirtbag video uses illustration as the video does tell the story of the lyrics exactly. Dance is used to express the feelings and mood in the video. It also seems like the video is a clip from a movie even though it is not, the storyline is just very clear.
The pretty reckless 'Make me wanna die' is a good example of Disjuncture since there is little connection between the video and the lyrics. The lyrics are about her never being good enough for a guy and how he makes her want to die. However in the video she is just singing with the band behind her with flecks of fire and then it keeps cutting to her walking down a road taking of her clothes.

This Providence's 'Keeping on without you" is a great example of Amplification as the song is about losing someone you love and not being able to go on without them & in the video it shows a guy laying on a mattress scattered with broken belongings and the mattress seem's to be in the middle of a completely recked house, assumingly belonging to him and to his loved one that is no longer there. He also keeps having flash backs of her and in the end is seen holding a picture of her.
