Our planning for our music video when it got changed.

• Our target audience was anyone form the ages 18+ that are both male and female.
• The song we picked was Coldplay - Viva la vida.
• We based the music video around the lyrics of this song.
• The song talks about someone losing everything good they had and hence losing faith in religion and hope.
• We showed this by having the main girl in our music video look like a prostitute.  We made this visible by having her wear tight shorts, a tight black top that showed cleavage, ripped stockings matched perfectly by studded heels. She walks by places like Churches but does not enter them due to her lost faith/belief. 
• We start the video on a semi mountain/cliff with a huge view because the song starts by saying "I used to rule the world", therefore the main girl is looking down at the world in front of her but it's not just any world. She is specifically looking down at Greenwich and the Canary Wharf, a significant part of London. 
• We also have some shots of her at her house to show that she was once just an ordinary girl but because of the horrors she'd seen she had become something that was no longer her.
• The majority of the time we only see the girl. We chose to do this because the song talks about being alone/loneliness and we wanted to represent this by her solitude.
• In some parts we have the lead singer in the studio. It is a song done by a band and we needed at least one of the members visible in the video at some point to show that this was a song composed by male band members and that the lead singer was male not female. 
• The line "I know Saint Peter won't call my name" shows that this person no longer has any hope or faith. We show this by having shots of the Cross but the Cross gets put away by our main girl to symbolise her lack of faith.
• The settings for our music video were Reem's home, Greenwich and a Church in Highbury. We picked these places because they all fit perfectly with the song. The house shows how her life once was and how everything was in control, Greenwich park is where she is looking down on everything and lastly the Church to convey how she has lost everything and the religious part of the lyrics. 
• The music video would be shown on Kerrang, Scuzz, MTV, Youtube, bands website, other sites and magazines like NME and Rocksound .

Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday

This album cover has a consistant house style with pink and white. It also shows refrence to Nicki Minajs obssesion of being Barbie as its very pink and the word 'Pink' is in the style of how 'Barbie' is written. The whole album follows this house style as everythin is either a shade or pink or white. The images of Nicki in her outfits also follow this as her outfits are simular to what you would find a barbie doll wearing if you were to buy one.

Michael Jacksons – This Is It

Michael Jacksons Digipak has a house style on the front of the Digipak he uses 2 main colours, red and a greyish white. On the front he does not use a lot of space for text he keeps it to a minimal and has a silhouette of his body shape with another image within it this is the same as the back of the Digipak. He uses the same 2 main colours Red and grey and still uses a silhouette with a image init and both of these images are mostly red. The writing on both the front and back are the same black font, on the back he has the main conventions a barcode, music producer, thanks and track listings. Inside the Digipak the CD is gold which is using another colour but has kept to a 3 colour house style and again a silhouette is used on the disc but this time with no image in it.

A clear font is used, appropriate sizes for the text and images, a usable house style is used the texts are well placed, the 3 colour ruled is used wisely keeping the colours basic. There are no stretched images no layer styles or unnecessary effects.

 This advert relates to the album digpak it uses the same house style using the same colours red and greyish white, it also uses the same picture as the front of the album cover, at the top of the advert it has some text using the same font as the album cover. at the bottom of the advert the it has some producer logos and some writing explaing the companys who are presenting the album and some acknowledgment of who helped out with the album

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream

Katy perrys digipak is very simple yet very brave. It has a simple house style a black background inside with pictures of her nearly half naked, which appeals to the males more then most females. In the pictures of katy she is wearing the same costume in the inside with different shots, a medium close up and a sort of establishing shot. The CD itself relates to the album as a chart song on the album is a video about everything made of sweets and the CD . Altogether the house style inside is easy. The front cover is a very high quality image of katy perry laying on some clouds which does appear in one of her music videos on her album.

Notorious B.I.G - Ready to die album

This album cover is very very simple it is a plain white background and a toddler on the front, very simple colours white, black and red. the back of the album has the same house style a white background with the B.I.G on it using 2 black males on the album is a good contrast to the white background, also on the back they have used red writing aswell this stands out well. also they have the barcode producers name and copyright info at the bottom and on the front as biggie uses explicit lyrics the warning sign is on the front .

Chamillionaire - Sound Of Revenge

This Album has a consistant house style which they use through out the cover. It has all the info that is required on a cover (Dates, Barcode, Copyright Information, Title, Artist name, Websites, Record Company info)
The cover also has a Spine which fits in with all the other fonts and the background house style. I think that the cover goes well with the genre of the music, I think that anyone can tell what type of genre this artist is. The artist has even made the CD within the house style.

Micheal Jackson - This is it

This album also has a good house style. This Album also has all the typical Cover info (Website, Dates, Copyright Info, etc...)
This album has different pictures for the front and back but it uses the same house style. However when it comes to the CD the house style completely changes.

Flo-Rida

This album has a consistant house style and has most of the Info that is required on the cover but it is lacking a few things. They are dates, copyright info. Apart from that this cove is a good cover because the background runs through out the two covers, except wen it gets to the spine, where it is black but it has the title and artist name.
