Analysis of Music Video -

N-Dubz (Tulisa, Dappy & Fazer) - Best Behaviour.
1. Narrative - The narrative of the video is a mix of the "verse course verse" linear and the non linear. The video is non linear as the video keeps cutting to different times and places inbetween the main jet and jeeps scene. We see the main set being the jets and jeeps location, we see Dappys house, Tulisa by the pool in an hot country and Fazer on a boat on the sea in an hot country, and each sceniere has a few scenes of a few places in the set where they are E.G. Tulisa inside the house then out by the pool. There is no disruption ot equilibrum in this video. Tulisa, Dappy and Fazer (the vocalists) are all the paeticipants, observers and narrators. The lyrics link to the narrative as they are singing about the person they love being the one for them and makes them by on their "Best Behaviour" and shows them all with the person there singing about.

2. Genre - The genre of this music video would be Grime/Rap/Hip-Hop. This is backed up by the fact the artists are young, in there early twentys, and dressed in an urban fashion and would attract young fans who are into Grime/Rap & Hip-Hop.

3. Representation - The representation in this video carries the stereotypical view of women being "sexual objects on show" as all woman apart from one of the vocalists are semi-naked in nothing but bikinis. This view is seen regually in this genre of music video. Both male artists are seen with big necklaces and jewlery - "bling", adding more effect to the genre. The femal singer is seen showing leg flesh but not semi naked like the other girls in the video, which shows shes a strong, inderpendent woman not tied down to the suppresed stereotypical view of women. In the video, her male friend is topless just wearing swimming trunks challanging the sterotypical view of women as in this case shes the one with her clothes on and hes the "object on show". The jet and jeeps also sterotype the singers as these are typical objects you would see in an Grime/Rap/Hip-Hop video.

4. Media lanuage - The video is of a normal pace as the music is not fast but not slow. Many different shots and angles have been used in the video in a seamless editing fashion. The normal paced editing creates a calm effect as its not to fast but its not to slow either so it doesnt create a sad mood in the viewer.
